This week we will be continuing our look at Can a Sinner Be A Christian? from the devotional Where True Love Is.

Day 49: If We Claim to Be Without Sin We Deceive Ourselves
The Bible verses for Day 49 are Romans 3:9-10, Romans 3:22-25, 1 John 1:8-10

For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one” (Romans 3:9-10 NIV)

For there is no distinction, since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a sacrifice of atonement by his blood, effective through faith. (Romans 3:22-25 NRSV)

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:8-10 NIV)
